WELCOME RUBEN QUESADA, POETRY EDITOR
Cobalt Press is thrilled to announce the addition of a new poetry editor to the staff. Ruben Quesada joins Cobalt just as the organization is broadening into new types of publication. In addition to the work he will be doing for Cobalt Review, Ruben is involved with several other publications, including Codex Journal, The Cossack Review, and Iron Horse Literary Review. He also serves as creative consultant of Stories and Queer, a traveling reading series that seeks to create safe storytelling spaces for poets and writers of color in underrepresented areas of the country.
Over the next couple of weeks, Ruben will work with the Cobalt staff to review all remaining poetry submissions. At that time, Ruben will boldly put forth his views and expectations for Cobalt poetry moving forward, and we will re-open poetry submissions.
Ruben will also serve as judge for the 2014 Cobalt Poetry Prize.
For any questions regarding poetry at Cobalt Review, please feel free to contact cobalt [at] cobaltreview [dot] com, and we will be in touch shortly.
